Low Carb GF Banana & Rooibos Chai Bread Recipe

BANANA & ROOIBOS CHAI BANANA BREAD

A flavorsome Low Carb treat to satisfy that sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (250g) Almond or Macadamia Nut Flour
  • 1/2 cup (50g) Coconut Flour
  • 1/2 cup (40g) Natural Health’s Rooibos Matcha Chai Whey Smoothie mix
  • 1/4 cup Desiccated Coconut or chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Sea or himalayan Salt
  • 1/4 cup Macadamia nut oil, Olive oil or Melted Butter
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 2 bananas (225g mashed)
  • 4 medium size eggs

Method

  1. Whisk together all the liquid
  2. Add the mashed banana and mix a bit more
  3. Then add the dry ingredients to the liquid
  4. Mix again and add into a bread tin.

 

Bake at 180 degrees for 45min to 1 hour
